Hebridean Skies Knot Digital Download We have a LOT of sky in the Hebrides. We can usually see from one horizon to the other which gives a wonderful feeling of freedom and being able to breathe. In high summer, we often get completely blue skies, with not a trace of cloud. The blues range from pale eggshell, through deep mediterranean blue to almost turquoise. No wonder artists and photographers love it here. This is my tribute to our lovely skies. This would be great fun to stitch as it is an easy design and is all one colour. The 'crossovers' are shown by simply not stitching them and allowing the colour of the Aida to show through. Alternatively, for a really psychedelic look, you could stitch it in rainbow colours, variegated threads or just have fun with lots of leftover theads.
